3 - 4 pounds cross-cut beef short ribs
Marinade 6 – 8 hours (overnight for best results).
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup rice wine
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1/2 Korean/Asian pear grated (you can blend the pear with the following 3 ingredients).
1/2 medium onion, grated
2 tablespoons minced garlic (about 6 plump cloves)
1 teaspoon minced ginger (about 1-inch chunk)
3 scallions thinly sliced
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Mix all marinade ingredients. Marinate the meat for 6 – 8 hours (overnight for best results).

Preheat the KUDU over medium-high heat.

Grill the short ribs, turning only once, 2 – 3 minutes on each side.
