Havird Usry

Havird Usry, an Augusta native, graduated from Clemson University, where he was four year letterman in soccer being named MVP his senior year. He left Clemson with a degree in International Business and Spanish. After he pursued pro soccer briefly after graduation he was naturally drawn back home to jump into the family business. Havird has led and managed major growth in the business over the past 7 years. Fat Man’s Mill Cafe and Enterprise Mill Events + Catering are the two operation he currently operates with a new concept on the way that is in construction phase right now. Fat Man’s is a traditional meat + 2 southern restaurant in Downtown Augusta. Enterprise Mill Events is Augusta premier wedding venue and catering service that plans and executes on and off site events in the Augusta area. Hav thought the next step for their business was to be more culinary based. This led Hav to Helm’s Culinary Institute, where he graduated as with a culinary arts degree, first in his class. Hav also appeared on Food Network in 2016 on Season 12 of Next Food Network Star. Hav is married to Dr. Brooke Usry, who owns a Dental practice in North Augusta, and they have a beautiful daughter, Hudson Grace. They also have a really cool dog named Otis!
